Kenneth Butcher is an American author renowned for his works, including As the Crow Dies and The Middle of Air. He grew up in Ohio and later attended Ohio State University, earning a degree in engineering. After graduating, Butcher married his high school sweetheart and began working at a research lab. He was later recruited to another research facility in North Carolina, where he and his wife started their family. Eventually, he founded his own company and became a member of the local school board. He made his debut as a novelist with The Middle of Air.
