Ken Follett is a Welsh author known for his historical and thriller novels, with over 100 million copies sold. He began his career at a London publishing house called Everest Books while writing as a hobby. To cover car repair costs, he wrote under the pen name Simon Myles. Although he has used several other pseudonyms, most of his works are published under his real name. Follett primarily writes standalone novels, though he has a few short series.
