Kay Finch is an American mystery novelist known for her Bad Luck Cat Mysteries series. Originally from Pennsylvania, she moved to Texas as soon as she had the chance. As a child, Kay wrote mystery stories, but she only became a professional author after working as a defense attorney, where she found inspiration for her stories. She is a member of the Mystery Writers of America, Sisters in Crime, and the State Bar of Texas Paralegal Division. Kay resides near Houston, Texas, with her husband and her rescued cats and dogs.
