Katy Munger is an American mystery novelist known for her Casey Jones series. She identifies as a Southern belle with a Northern sense of humor, having been raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, and spending sixteen years in New York City. Rather than writing full-time, Katy prefers engaging with the world outside her home instead of sitting in front of a computer. In her leisure time, she enjoys the company of friends, traveling, and attending live music events. Katy made her publishing debut in 1991 with Partners in Crime (under the pen name Gallagher Gray), and her first book published under her own name was Legwork in 1997, which launched the Casey Jones series.
