Order of Katrine Engberg Books

Katrine Engberg is a Danish author who made her mark with her debut crime fiction novel, The Tenant, also known as Crocodile Guardian, which was first published in 2016. The book received widespread acclaim and was featured as an O, The Oprah Magazine Title to Pick Up Now and an Indie Next Pick. Prior to her writing career, Engberg was a successful dancer and choreographer in television and theater. A passionate reader from a young age, she learned English by reading works by Ruth Randall, Dorothy Sayers, and Sue Grafton. Although she wrote from an early age, it took her some time to pursue writing as a career, as she initially worked as a choreographer, instructor, and dancer before committing to finish her novel. Engberg resides in Østerbro with her husband and child.
