Order of Kathleen Kent Books

Kathleen Kent is an American author who debuted in 2008 with her first novel, The Heretic’s Daughter. She is known for the Detective Betty Rhyzyk series and received an Edgar Award nomination for the series' first book, The Dime. Kathleen based the character on her own experiences, having family in law enforcement and a deep admiration for female police officers. Although she grew up in Texas, she moved to New York for work and lived there for twenty years before returning to her home state. Upon her return to Texas, she decided to pursue writing full time.
