Order of Karen Maitland Books

Karen Maitland is an English author known for her historical mystery and thriller novels set in medieval times. She holds honours in Human Communication and a doctorate in Psycholinguistics. In addition to writing her own novels, she is a member of the Medieval Murderers group, which includes Philip Gooden, Susanna Gregory, Michael Jecks, Bernard Knight, Ian Morson, and C.J. Sansom. Maitland published her first novel, The White Room, in 1996, which was shortlisted for The Authors’ Club Best First Novel Award.
