Order of Kacen Callender Books

Kacen Callender, an author from Saint Thomas, is renowned for their work in YA fiction and fantasy. Their book, Hurricane Child, won both the Stonewall Book Award and the Lambda Literary Award. Born and raised in St. Thomas, Callender pursued a bachelor's degree in Japanese and Creative Writing at Sarah Lawrence College. They subsequently attended The New School's Writing for Children program, where they earned an MFA. Before becoming an author, Callender worked as an editor at Little, Brown.
