K.J. Howe is a Canadian author renowned for her Thea Paris/Freedom Brokers thriller series. She has received three Daphne du Maurier Awards for Excellence in Mystery and Suspense. Born in Canada, K.J. spent her youth living in various parts of the world, including Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and the Caribbean. This nomadic lifestyle led her to find comfort in books, fostering her passion for reading and inspiring her to write her own stories. She studied business at Albert College and the University of Toronto before earning a Master's in Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University.
