Joyce Tremel is an American author known for her cozy mystery novels, particularly the Brewing Trouble Mysteries series. She spent ten years working as a police secretary, during which she often imagined the downfall of certain colleagues, but chose to pursue writing to avoid legal trouble. Her flash fiction has been featured in Mysterical-e, and her non-fiction work has appeared in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police magazine. Joyce made her debut as a published novelist in 2015 with To Brew or Not To Brew, the first book in her Brewing Trouble Mystery series.
