John Green is an American writer known for his young adult novels. He is a New York Times Bestselling author and has received both the Printz Medal and Printz Honor. His book The Fault in Our Stars has been adapted for film. As a child, he aspired to be an earthworm scientist, but when that didn’t pan out, he chose to pursue writing instead. John co-hosts a vlog called Brotherhood 2.0 with his brother Hank and resides in Indianapolis, Indiana. He published his first novel, Looking for Alaska, in 2005.
