Order of Jimmy Sangster Books

Jimmy Sangster (1927-2011) was a British author and screenwriter, renowned primarily for his screenwriting work. He started at Hammer Films as a production assistant and took on various roles before becoming a screenwriter. He also directed three films for the studio. Sangster passed away in 2011 and was married to actress Mary Peach, with whom he had a son and two grandchildren. He made his literary debut in 1959 under the pseudonym John Sansom, while his first published work under his real name, The Terror of the Tongs, came out in 1962. After his death, an unpublished novel from his James Reed series, titled Fireball, was found and is set to be published in 2020 by Brash Books.
