Order of Jenny Offill Books

Jenny Offill is an American writer renowned for her novels, Dept. of Speculation and Weather. Dept. of Speculation was recognized as one of “The 10 Best Books of 2014” by The New York Times Book Review. Offill was raised in various states as the only child of two private-school English teachers. The family eventually settled in North Carolina, where she completed high school before attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She later went to Stanford University, where she was a Stegner Fellow in Fiction. Besides her writing career, Jenny has taught in the MFA programs at Brooklyn College, Syracuse University, Columbia University, and Queens University of Charlotte.
