Order of Jeanne Birdsall Books

Jeanne Birdsall is an American author who won the National Book Award and is best known for her Penderwicks series. Growing up outside of Philadelphia, she aspired to be a writer from a young age, making the decision at just ten years old, though she didn't achieve this goal until her forties. The first book in the Penderwicks series, titled The Penderwicks: A Summer Tale of Four Sisters, Two Rabbits, and a Very Interesting Boy, won the National Book Award in 2005.
