Order of Jason Goodwin Books

Jason Goodwin is a British writer known for his historical mystery novels and non-fiction works. He is the author of the Yashim the Eunuch series. His interest in Istanbul began while he was studying Byzantine history at Cambridge University. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, he walked from Poland to Istanbul to explore the new European landscape. He documented this journey in a memoir titled On Foot to the Golden Horn, which won the John Llewellyn Rhys/Mail on Sunday Prize in 1993. Goodwin published his first book, a non-fiction work called A Time for Tea, in 1980, and made his fiction debut with The Janissary Tree in 2006.
