Janey Mack is an American author known for her mystery and suspense novels, particularly the Maisie McGrane series. As a child, Janey aspired to be a police officer, but her father discouraged her from pursuing that path. Instead, she created Maisie McGrane, a fictional character who embodies the qualities Janey wished she could have. Janey resides in Scottsdale, Arizona, with her husband and children, and is conveniently located near her brothers. She became a published novelist in 2015 with her book Time’s Up.
