Jane Johnson is an English author known for her works in historical fiction, fantasy, children's literature, and non-fiction. She also writes under the names Jude Fisher and Gabriel King (in collaboration with M. John Harrison). With thirty years of experience in the publishing industry, Jane has held various roles, including writer, bookseller, editor, and publisher. She holds a first-class honours degree in English, a teaching degree, and a Master’s degree in Old Icelandic language and literature. Jane and her husband Abdellatif divide their time between Cornwall and the Anti-Atlas Mountains in Morocco. She began her writing career in 1997, co-authoring as Gabriel King with M.
