Order of Jan-Philipp Sendker Books

Jan-Philipp Sendker is an experienced journalist and the author of the Art of Hearing Heartbeats book series. He worked as a freelance journalist before securing a full-time position with Stern magazine, where he spent five years as their U.S. correspondent and later became their Asia correspondent based in Hong Kong. Aspiring to be a novelist, Sendker requested three years of unpaid leave from Stern to write his first novel, which turned out to be The Art of Hearing Heartbeats. Although the book did not achieve immediate success, he returned to work but eventually transitioned to writing full-time as a novelist.
