James Douglas is a Scottish writer renowned for the Jamie Saintclaire book series, which centers on Jamie Saintclaire, an art recovery specialist and protagonist. James Douglas is a pseudonym for the author Douglas Jackson, who has also penned the Rufus and Gaius Valerius Verrens series. Residing in Scotland, Douglas serves as an assistant editor for The Scotsman. Originally from Jedburgh in the Scottish Borders, he currently lives in Bridge of Allan.
