Order of Jack Finney Books

Jack Finney was an American writer renowned for his works The Body Snatchers and Time and Again. The former inspired the 1956 film Invasion of the Body Snatchers, which is regarded as one of the most significant political allegories of the 1950s. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as John Finney, he was renamed Walter Braden Finney at the age of three in memory of his deceased father. However, he was commonly known as Jack, the name under which he published his works. Finney's first published story appeared in the 1940s, and his debut novel, 5 Against the House, was released in 1954.
