J.P. McLean is a Canadian writer specializing in urban fantasy and supernatural thrillers, best known for her Gift Legacy series. Originally from Toronto, Ontario, she has lived in various places around the globe, including Mexico and the United States, before returning to Canada. Currently, she resides on Denman Island, situated between the coast of British Columbia and Vancouver Island. J.P. graduated from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and enjoyed a successful career in Human Resources prior to pursuing writing.
