J.M. Miro is the pseudonym of Canadian author Steven Price, who writes dark fantasy and historical fiction. He gained recognition for his debut novel, Ordinary Monsters, which is part of The Talents Trilogy and has received considerable praise. Miro holds a BFA from the University of Victoria and an MFA in poetry from the University of Virginia. He launched his writing career under this pen name in 2022 with Ordinary Monsters.
