Order of Irving Wallace Books

Irving Wallace (1916-1990) was an American writer and screenwriter. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Wallace started selling stories to magazines as a teenager. During World War II, he served with Theodor Seuss Geisel (commonly known as Dr. Seuss) while continuing to write for magazines. After the war, he transitioned to Hollywood as a screenwriter, working on films such as The West Point Story, Split Second, and Meet Me at the Fair. After several years in Hollywood, he became a full-time author. Wallace is the father of Olympic historian David Wallechinsky and author Amy Wallace. He made his debut as a published author in 1955 with the non-fiction book The Fabulous Originals, and his first novel, The Sins of Philip Fleming, was published in 1959.
