Iona Whishaw is a Canadian author known for her historical mystery novels, particularly the Lane Winslow series. Born in British Columbia, she moved around during her childhood due to her father's career as a geologist. Iona holds a Master’s degree in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia and has experience as a youth worker, social worker, teacher, and high school principal. Residing in Vancouver, she is married and has a son and two grandsons. Iona made her debut as a published novelist in 2015 with the book Dead in the Winter.
