Ingrid Persaud is a Trinidadian author known for her literary fiction. She left Trinidad and Tobago to pursue her studies in the UK, where she earned a law degree from the London School of Economics and also studied fine art at Goldsmiths College and Central St. Martins. Before becoming a novelist, Ingrid taught law at King’s College, London, and worked as a visual artist and project manager. She currently divides her time between London, England, and Barbados.
