Ijeoma Oluo is an American author renowned for her books, So You Want to Talk About Race and Mediocre: The Dangerous Legacy of White Male America. Beyond her book writing, Oluo has contributed extensively to various local and national publications, including The Guardian, Jezebel, The Stranger, Medium, and The Establishment, where she served as an editor-at-large. Residing in Seattle, Washington, she was recognized as one of the 50 most influential women in Seattle in 2018 and received a Feminist Humanist Award that same year. She gained national attention for her interview with Rachel Dolezal, a white woman who identified as black.
