Order of Horst Christian Books

Horst Christian is the author of the Journey to America series and the Growing Up Under the Third Reich series. Born in Berlin, Germany in 1930, he developed a passion for reading and writing early on. However, at the age of 10, he was required to join a subdivision of the Hitler Youth, a mandate of the Berlin school system at that time. He contributed to Hitler Youth publications before being drafted to fight against the Soviets during the war. After the war, Christian immigrated to America, where he eventually became a U.S. citizen and continues to live today. Horst resides in Idaho with his wife, Jennifer.
