Henry Turner is an American author known for his YA mystery novels. He grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, with a lifelong interest in storytelling. As a teenager, he created films with his brother and neighborhood friends. After writing, shooting, and editing five feature films, he gained recognition and won awards, prompting his move to L.A. There, he contributed to the development of a film festival and worked as a journalist, interviewing notable filmmakers like George Lucas, Brian Grazer, Quentin Tarantino, and James Cameron. Throughout this time, he continued to write stories. Following a period in Greece, Henry decided to focus on fiction writing and studied under John Rechy upon returning to Los Angeles. He and his wife have a son named Hugo. Henry Turner made his debut as a published novelist in 2015 with the book Ask the Dark.
