Order of Gordon Ferris Books

Gordon Ferris is a Scottish writer known for his historical, crime fiction, and thriller novels, particularly the Douglas Brodie series. Before his writing career, he worked as a computer programmer, held an executive position at the UK Ministry of Defence, and was a consultancy partner in Price Waterhouse’s banking division. Ferris chose to set his first six novels in post-war Britain, believing the era was relatively unexplored, unlike the more commonly depicted wartime and late 1940s periods. He published his first book, Truth Dare Kill, in 2007, which was part of a duology featuring Danny McRae, followed by The Unquiet Heart the next year.
