George Wier is an American mystery novelist known for his Bill Travis series. Although he began writing seriously in 1986, his passion for writing has been present since he learned to read. He believes his novels reflect the spirit of classic action stories, reimagined for contemporary audiences. In addition to writing, George enjoys playing the violin and fiddle, as well as engaging in art, photography, and designing book covers. He resides in Austin, Texas, with his wife. Wier became a published author in 2011 with the short story "The Eternal," and his first full-length novel, "The Last Call," was released in 2012 as part of the Bill Travis series.
