Fred Aceves is an American author known for his YA novels. He was born in New York to a Mexican father and a Dominican mother, but spent most of his childhood in Southern California and Florida. After reaching adulthood, he lived in various places including Chicago, New York, the Czech Republic, France, Argentina, Bolivia, and Mexico. In addition to being a novelist, he has held various jobs such as delivery driver, server, cook, car salesman, freelance editor, and ESL teacher.
