Order of Elizabeth Acevedo Books

Elizabeth Acevedo is an American author renowned for her book The Poet X, which has received several accolades including the National Book Award for Young People’s Literature, the Michael L. Printz Award, the Pura Belpré Award, the Boston Globe–Horn Book Award, and the Walter Award. Besides her accomplishments as an author, she is a champion of the National Poetry Slam. Acevedo earned her MFA in creative writing from the University of Maryland and currently resides in Washington, DC, where she continues to write.
