Order of Dorothy Allison Books

Dorothy Allison is an American writer from South Carolina. Throughout her writing career, she has received numerous accolades, such as the American Library Association Prize for Lesbian and Gay Writing, the Lambda Literary Award for Lesbian Fiction, and the Robert Penn Warren Award for Fiction. She was the first in her family to complete high school and subsequently attended Florida Presbyterian College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology. She later pursued graduate studies at Florida State University, The Sagaris Institute, and the New School for Social Research.
