Donis Casey is an American author known for her historical mystery novels. Her first series features the female sleuth Alafair Tucker. A third-generation Oklahoman, Donis grew up surrounded by her extended family in rural areas. She graduated from the University of Tulsa with a degree in English and obtained her Master’s in Library Science from Oklahoma University. After a brief teaching stint, she became an academic librarian at the University of Oklahoma and Arizona State University. Donis resides in Tempe, Arizona, with her husband.
