Order of Dominick Dunne Books

Dominick Dunne (1925-2009) was an American author, journalist, and Hollywood producer. After studying at Williams College and serving in World War II, he spent time in New York before moving to Hollywood, where he directed the TV series Playhouse 90 and became vice president of Four Star Pictures. He gained notoriety more for his lavish parties than his professional achievements, leading to struggles with alcoholism and drug addiction. In 1979, he relocated to Oregon and transitioned into writing. Following the tragic murder of his daughter, actress Dominique Dunne, by her ex-boyfriend, he penned an article for Vanity Fair detailing the experience; her killer received only a two-and-a-half-year sentence. Dominick died in August 2009 in Manhattan, New York, and was laid to rest in Hadlyme, Connecticut. He published his first novel, The Winners, in 1982, and his last work, Too Much Money, was released in 2009, the year of his death.
