Dianne Freeman developed a passion for reading at a young age, especially after her mother introduced her to the works of Edith Wharton and Agatha Christie, which captivated her. Although she also nurtured a desire to write, her busy life and career in corporate finance took precedence for many years. She even authored a non-fiction book, but writing remained secondary to her work and family responsibilities. Upon retiring, she finally decided to pursue writing, inspired by the historical mysteries she cherished in her youth, and the rest is history.
