Dee MacDonald is a Scottish author known for her crime fiction, cozy mystery, and women’s fiction novels. She is the creator of the Kate Palmer series. Dee started writing around the age of seven and excelled in it at school, even winning essay competitions. However, life took her in a different direction, and she had to set aside her writing aspirations until her retirement. Dee resides in Cornwall, England, with her husband and has one son and two grandsons. She made her debut as a novelist in 2018 with The Runaway Wife, which launched her Connie McColl series.
