David Rollins is an Australian author known for his crime fiction and thriller novels, particularly the Vin Cooper series. After completing school, he aimed to join the military but was rejected. This led him to a career in the publishing industry, eventually transitioning to copywriting. Following a mid-life crisis, Rollins took a break to learn aerobatic flying and pursue fiction writing, a decision he has never regretted. He resides in Sydney, Australia, with his wife and three children. Rollins published his first novel, Rogue Element, in 2003, followed by a sequel, Sword of Allah, the next year.
