Order of David Lagercrantz Books

David Lagercrantz is a Swedish author and journalist. He is the son of literary scholar Olof Lagercrantz and the grandson of philosopher Hans Ruin, and he belongs to the Swedish House of Nobility. David studied philosophy and religion at university and graduated from journalism school in Gothenburg. His first journalism job was with the Volvo magazine, followed by a position at the Expressen daily tabloid, where he reported on criminal cases, including the Amsele murders. Lagercrantz's debut book was a biography of Swedish adventurer and mountaineer Goran Kropp, published in 1997 and later released in English as Ultimate High in 2000. His first novel, Stjarnfall, was published in 2001, and his first English-published novel was Fall of Man in Wilmslow in 2015.
