Order of David L. Lindsey Books

David L. Lindsey is an American author known for his crime fiction and mystery novels, particularly the Stuart Haydon series. He was raised in the Texas Rio Grande Valley and West Texas. After earning a degree in English literature from North Texas State University, he moved to Austin, Texas, in 1970, where he continues to reside. In the 1970s, Lindsey worked as an editor for several small publishing houses in Austin and founded his own publishing company, Heidelberg Publishers. In 1980, his wife encouraged him to begin writing, leading to his novel Mercy being adapted into a film.
