David Gibbins is a British-Canadian thriller novelist and underwater archaeologist, known for the Jack Howard series. Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, he traveled extensively with his parents during his childhood, spending four years in New Zealand. He later attended the University of Bristol in England, earning a first-class honours degree in Ancient Mediterranean Studies, followed by a PhD in Archaeology from Cambridge University and Corpus Christi College. Currently, he splits his time between fieldwork, England, and Canada. Gibbins published his first novel, Atlantis, in 2005. Below is a list of his books in the order of their initial release:
