Order of Danica McKellar Books

Danica McKellar is both an author and actress, best known for her iconic role as Winnie Cooper on The Wonder Years. While she continues to act, she also dedicates significant time to writing books aimed at middle and high school readers. In the literary world, she is particularly recognized for her McKellar Math series. In 2007, Danica addressed a Congressional Committee regarding the reasons behind American students lagging in math compared to their peers in other countries. She holds a Mathematics degree from UCLA and aimed to contribute to the solution by creating McKellar Math. Her writing journey began with Math Doesn’t Suck and has expanded to include numerous other titles. Danica received the Communication Award from the Joint Policy Board for Mathematics and UCLA’s Science and Education Pioneer Award in 2018. Her contributions to mathematics are significant, as she has a published original theorem in the esteemed Journal of Physics, now referred to as the Chayes-McKellar-Winn theorem.
