Cody McFadyen is an American thriller novelist, known for his Smoky Barrett series. Prior to his writing career, he worked as a website designer. He enjoys excessive coffee consumption, plays guitar poorly, and is an avid reader. Cody resides in Southern California with his two black labs, affectionately referred to as “The Black Forces of Destruction.” He published his first novel, Shadow Man, in 2006, followed by The Face of Death the next year, both of which became international bestsellers.
