Order of Clara Benson Books

Clara Benson is the author of the Angela Marchmont Mysteries and Freddy Pilkington-Soames Adventures series. Although her Angela Marchmont series is classified as historical fiction, that was not her initial goal. She was primarily inspired by Golden Age authors such as Agatha Christie, Dorothy L. Sayers, and Ngaio Marsh, and aimed to emulate their style. To accomplish this, Benson chose to write "in character" as Clara Benson, a fictional author from that time period. This approach led to her debut novel, The Murder at Sissingham Hall, published in 2013. Clara resides with her family in North London.
