Charlie Donlea is an American thriller author renowned for his works such as Summit Lake, The Girl Who Was Taken, and Some Choose Darkness. Although he is a bestselling writer, his background differs from many authors featured on this site. He did not develop a passion for reading early on and actually read his first book, John Grisham’s The Firm, at the age of twenty. After finishing it, he realized he wanted to write thriller novels, a goal he has successfully achieved, with his books now available in multiple languages.
