Order of Catherine Hernandez Books

Catherine Hernandez debuted as an author with the release of Scarborough, which won the Jim Wong-Chu Award for unpublished manuscripts before being published and appearing on numerous Best of 2017 lists. The book has been optioned for a film adaptation, with Catherine writing the screenplay. She has Filipino, Spanish, Chinese, and Indian heritage and is married into the Navajo Nation. In addition to her writing, Catherine has authored and produced several plays, including the one-woman show The Femme Playlist, and has written children's books such as M is for Mustache: A Pride ABC Book.
