Order of Catherine Chung Books

Catherine Chung is an American author recognized for her debut novel, The Tenth Muse. Growing up in various states including Illinois, New York, New Jersey, and Michigan, she developed a lifelong passion for reading. Chung studied mathematics at the University of Chicago and spent several years working at a think tank in California before returning to her true passion for writing. She pursued her MFA at Cornell University, where she fully committed to her writing career. Chung has received a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship and a Director’s Visitorship at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, and she was also named a Granta New Voice. Her first novel earned an Honorable Mention for the PEN/Hemingway Award.
