Cass Green, the author of The Woman Next Door and In a Cottage In a Wood, is a pen name for Caroline Green, an award-winning YA author. She adopts the name Cass Green for her more adult-themed novels. Besides writing novels, Green serves as the Writer in Residence at East Barnet School and teaches Writing for Children at City University. With over twenty years of experience as a journalist, she has contributed to various publications. Her books have received excellent reviews upon release and have been shortlisted for multiple awards, with Hold Your Breath winning the Oldham Book Award.
