C. Robert Cargill is an American screenwriter and author, known for his works Day Zero and Sea of Rust. He previously worked as a movie reviewer for sites like Ain’t It Cool News and Spill.com but left that role after achieving success in screenwriting. Cargill dreamed of writing fiction from a young age and made his breakthrough in 2012 when the screenplay he co-wrote, Sinister, was adapted into a film, followed by the publication of his first novel, Dreams and Shadows, in 2013.
