Brent Weeks is an American fantasy novelist who earned his English degree from Hillsdale College in Michigan. Prior to his writing career, he worked as a teacher and bartender. He is known for the Night Angel Trilogy and the Lightbringer series. Brent resides in Oregon with his wife, Kristi. He made his debut as a published author in 2008 with The Way of Shadows, which is set to be adapted into a graphic novel.
